We work one-on-one with our growers to ensure they receive the best audit necessary to sell their product.  GAP Ready! works closely with the grower, purchaser, and audit firm to obtain the most beneficial certification for our client. Services are rendered on two levels: consulting or full service bookkeeping/audit preparation.  Service includes:

  • Completes all applications needed for audit.
  • Works to guarantee audit schedule fits the grower, as well as the auditor.
  • On-site worker training. 
  • Develops Standards Operating Procedures that reflect your operation. 
  • Maintains input records, from plant to harvest.
  • Works directly with grower to complete all needed forms and logs.
  • Attends, presents and acts on behalf of the grower. 
  • Completes any necessary correction action steps.

Global GAP

This type of audit is required by most large retail chains and all overseas buyers.  Therefore, this audit scheme is an extremely in-depth and detailed process.  Preparation for this type of audit begins months in advance.  After an annual farm walk-through, we offer guidance on areas of concern.  Our guidance is based on the certification requirements only.  While we work on your paperwork, it is your duty to ensure guidance is acted on.  We spend months completing SOPs, risk assessments and worker training.  Again, services are rendered on two levels: consulting or full service bookkeeping/audit preparation. Service includes:

  • Completes all applications needed for audit.
  • Works to guarantee audit schedule fits the grower, as well as the auditor.
  • On-site worker training.
  • Develops Standards Operating Procedures that reflect your operation.

Organic Audits are often required by certain buyers.  Our knowledge of the National Organic Program is beneficial to you during this audit. Again, services are rendered on two levels: consulting or full service bookkeeping/audit preparation. Service includes:

Primus Audits

Primus audits are required for any type of processing of food products and is often required by large scale buyers.  Our certified HACCP training comes in handy with this audit. Each Primus Audit recipient must have their own specialized HACCP Plan!  We work closely with your buyer to ensure you are receiving the correct certification.  Again, services are rendered on two levels: consulting or full service bookkeeping/audit preparation. Service includes:

  • Completes all applications needed for audit.
  • Works to guarantee audit schedule fits the grower, as well as the auditor.
  • On-site worker training.
  • Develops Standards Operating Procedures that reflect your operation.

Thanks to our market knowledge, we talk communicate directly with tobacco buyers to guarantee the most beneficial certification is received,  Again, services are rendered on two levels: consulting or full service bookkeeping/audit preparation. Service includes:

  • Ensure all GAP training is completed prior to annual deadline. 
  • Works to guarantee audit schedule fits the grower, as well as the auditor.
  • On-site worker training, if necessary.
  • Communicates with FSA and NCGA to obtain necessary records for audit. 
  • Maintains input records, from plant to harvest.
  • Works directly with grower to complete all needed forms and logs.
  • Attends, presents and acts on behalf of the grower.
